How you can help

In addition to the night time emergency accommodation for rough sleepers through SWEP, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and homelessness partners are also providing shelter in the day for those needing it. This is by referral, please contact Julian House at, call 01256 322791 or contact the Housing Team on 01256 844844. This is on top of 15 bed spaces at the night shelter.

Working together we can all make a big difference. Please support the Social Inclusion Partnership to make a real change for people sleeping on the borough’s streets.

Throughout the year the Social Inclusion Partnership’s Real Change not Loose Change campaign will be raising money for local homelessness charities and services in the borough and asking people to support local charities as an alternative to giving money directly to people on the streets.

If you already donate to a local homelessness charity or service please continue this support.
